Warmth
Warmth
How simple life was in our small town simple but gay
Just a bit of warmth from the ignited fire,
Was all it took to blow the biting cold away
Your hundred dollar smile and the radiant face,
Would bring the world's happiness my way
Simple life and little moments of joy,
Always added a beautiful meaning to my day
But now as I stay here in this far of land,
In this hour of twilight just across the grey looking bay
The biting cold has made me all frozen and numb,
In spite of this beautiful house and a stack of burning hay
I long for the warmth of your soft little hands,
Your radiant smile and the unending things you would say
Ohh! How I miss you my dearest friend,
I am at a loss of any words to say...
I am at a loss of any words to say
