The wind blows,- within its breath

It cradles, carrying souls

Some lost,- some found

Emotions, memories

Tis just a shell,

Buried underground,

A soul lingers,- expanding past 

Expansion,- yet this one soul

Bound to the journey,- unable to accept

Ascension,- memory_ carried memories

Of trauma,- hurt young

Wondering,- " Where are you, mom?"

At that very moment,- silence

Silenced,- screaming inside of rooms

Empty,- in mind

Emptied the mind

As tears fall from eyes

Smile worn,- the perfect disguise

Surely faded,- as death came

Taking the hands of___

My sister,- my steps_ became jaded 

Drained,- drunken emotions

Intoxicated, - forgot my own birthday

As time faded

It births a new dawn

Blessed,- as hearts intertwined

Came forth,- multiplied

Wife,- to husband

Mother,- to children

What once doubted

Came into fruition

Life is about duality

Based on the outcome of reality

Balance,- take the good with the bad

Maybe if,- I had my dad

Moments,- would've never had

In this event,- filled with events

A bride, a groom

She loves him, he loves her too

His love for her,- he claims

She misconstrues 

Yet she awakened_

Her light dimmed

Body,- heart

Mind bruised__

Heart big,- a target for being

Taken advantage of,- abused

Love__ a feeling,- words to misuse

Yet - the wind blows

Within its breath
