You left me forever, but said no goodbye

 My world fell apart, I thought I would die

 You were always my stength in difficult times 

 You stood by my side till you knew I was fine

When in life you were sad you did never complain

Your silence would tell me your mind was in pain

You chose to share your joy with delight

Though your sorrows you embraced ever so tight

Your absence created a void in my life

You were my peace in the midst of all strife

A decade has passed since that ill-fated day

But the sorrow as fresh in my mind as today

If only I knew you would leave me so soon

I would have spent all my time just being with you.

Today in my mirror, it's your reflection I see

The values and beliefs i imbibed to keep
