3 Lost Mobiles

An astrologer arrived hurriedly and frustrated at the police station.

"Inspector, this is too much. My previous two complaints about mobile thefts haven't been responded to. Why? If you had acted swiftly and smartly, I could have avoided the third theft," the astrologer exclaimed.

The inspector, engrossed in his work, ignored the astrologer, further infuriating him. With a bang, the astrologer sat on the chair.

Before the astrologer could lose his temper, he took a deep breath and requested the Inspector's attention.

The Inspector calmly looked at the astrologer and asked him to calm down and talk.

"I am an astrologer and need to trace my three mobiles," the astrologer proudly declared.

"What exactly do you do for a living?" asked the inspector.

"I tell the future to curious or anxious people and earn a living," answered the complainant.

"Why couldn't you predict your own three mobile thefts? If predicted rightly and beforehand, you could have avoided the loss, isn't it?" questioned the police inspector.

Complainant was stunned with this question.

"What help do you need from the police department to trace the mobiles that you couldn't avoid being stolen?" continued the inspector.

He smiled reluctantly and sought help.

A constable was called to complete the formalities.

The constable politely requested the astrologer to provide a few answers to provide necessary help.

"Kindly provide me with these details to assist you. What was written in your destiny that you couldn't predict before your first mobile theft?" inquired the constable.

The astrologer, with irritation, questioned the constable's line of questioning, expressing his urgency to retrieve at least one mobile.

The constable persisted, asking the astrologer about his mood in the evening before the sun set, based on his zodiac sign, on the day when the first and the third mobile was lost.

The astrologer lost his temper and raised his voice, demanding the return of his mobile and to log a complaint.

The constable then reminded the astrologer of his past interactions and losses incurred due to the complainant's predictions and profession.The constable urged the astrologer to either resolve the case independently or provide guidance to restore hope, dignity, and confidence to him and all the other people who may have been impacted due to his services but did not have courage to question him back or share the greivances or complain about.

Unable to respond, the astrologer left the station without uttering a word.
