A Letter To The Ex

Dear Ex,

I am writing this letter to you, even though I am aware that you don't have a habit of reading and are not very active on social media. There is a rare chance that you will come across this letter later, but if you do, please read it.

You have caused me a lot of pain in my life. You have shattered my dreams and my future by breaking up with me. Your useless ego has destroyed my home and my house. I gave you everything I had, including the enjoyment of my career, but you didn't think about my career when you left. You walked out of my life without informing me, and I tried my best to save our relationship and please you, but it was already too late.

I am unsure what to call this, whether it's a breakup, cheating, or something else entirely, but you have cost me everything. You have shattered my dreams, my hopes, and my beliefs.

Dear Ex,

Your decision to leave me without asking for my consent shattered my beliefs about how relationships should work. You were so firm and constant in your decision, like a cement concrete. You didn't consider how your actions would affect anyone else.

You didn't think about our son who was in your custody. He was very young and your decision affected his future. You ruined his education and never even introduced him to his father. I don't understand your intentions behind this decision, but it was a very bad one.

I hope you are happy in your life now, but it's too early for me to move on from what you've done. You have made my life a rollercoaster of highs and lows. I'm struggling to deal with the aftermath of your decision, but I hope one day I can find a way to move forward.

I am fortunate to have many people in my life who love me deeply. I have come to realize that love is not limited to a spouse, but also extends to one's mother, brother, father, and family. Love entails doing something for those you care about. I hope you, dear X, can also understand the true meaning of love and the virtues it brings to life. I hope you are happy with our child, and that you will never make an effort to arrange a meeting between father and son. You hate me too much without any reason because of only your useless ego. I will not take any action without your consent, as I respect your wishes. I have given you the freedom to make your own choices, including the decision to end our marriage. I have also granted you the freedom to care for our child. I hope you are doing well in your life, even without me. You may have been wondering what my intention assure you that everything I have done has been out of love.

Dear [ex],

I hope this letter finds you well. It has been a while since we last spoke, and I apologize for the delay in reaching out to you. I wanted to share with you that I am very happy in my life now, and I hold no resentment towards you for any of the past events that may have caused me pain. I have forgiven you for everything, and I am truly free from any negative emotions towards you. 

I also wanted to remind you to take care of your parents as they age. They depend on you, and it is important to prioritize their well-being over material possessions and financial gain. Additionally, it is important to cherish the people and living things in your life, rather than focusing solely on accumulating wealth. 

Although I am no longer in a position to offer you advice, I hope that these words resonate with you in some way. I wish you all the best in your endeavors, and I bid you farewell.
