A Mother’s Love

“I am fine, Ma, everything is all right.” I said. “I am happy, do not worry about me.” I was trying to convince my mother, hiding my agonizing pain behind my smile. I wiped her face with my stole.

SLAP!!!!

“I told you to keep my clothes Ironed. Where are they? I hate you, just get out of my life.” Arvind banged my head on the side walls.

SPLASH!!!! 

Suddenly, blood oozes out of my husband’s leg. And to my astonishment, the photo frame of my late mother has fallen down with glass pieces scattered all over the ground, the moment Arvind tried to drag me by my hair.

“Mother never leaves their child’s hand, not even after she leaves the world.” Realizing the magic, I collected my mother’s picture and left the place forever.
