Being independent

What does it actually mean to be independent? Is it being financial security or emotional security?

Is it being rich or being strong? 

The definition of being independent is different for different people. There are many ways of being independent as there are many definitions.

A girl name Anya is also on a journey to be independent but she is very far from it. Anya has many wishes to complete and many goals to achieve. One goal stands at the top of her wish list and that is being independent. 

Although she doesn't know the exact definition of being independent she is giving her all to achieve this goal of hers. 

Currently, she is one of the top students of star city high school. She is living quite, simple and unbothered life as a girl aged 17 years. She is a girl with a mature way of thinking and a logical approach to situations.

Behind her quiet life, there is a huge secret that she is hiding from the world. A secret that no one knows. She lives in an orphanage that provides her with a room to live, food to eat, and fees for school. For covering her extra expenses she works two part-time jobs. 

 She doesn't have anybody who she can call her family but she has one friend named Zara. 

On a regular day in Anya's life, she is on a bus on the route to school. Just like any other day this day was also passing in peace until Anya saw a name on the poster while traveling. She was kind of traumatized seeing that poster. As soon as she reached her class she immediately sat on her bench putting her head down. It was like she is controlling her emotions and fighting some memories in her mind.

Suddenly, she heard someone calling her name Anya? Anyaaa?
