Birthday Party

The color blubs and the laughter of the guests filled the atmosphere with joy and cheers. The music added more melodious tunes to the air. The birthday girl was still not be seen among the guests, her friends said she was busy inside her room being ready with her new frock and jewels and applying cosmetics.

It was a grand night ...almost all the friends were invited including me ..though it was a grand party I used to be simple and charm, that is my way. Wow !! The birthday girl slowly, carefully as a bride came up to be seen among the guests.

Her jewels started to sparkle with glitters of gold and her luxury coat shoes were pure and soft as a newborn baby, her face was so bright and pink as a barbie doll, and her lips pinkish with glitters. She looked soo luxurious and her way of speech too was soo luxurious tongue.

" Hello...Sandra soo...thank you for accepting my invitation. "

She just said these words to me and moved hurriedly to speak to other guests. I just felt embarrassed as I was the only girl with the normal dress, maybe she spoke with a fine tone of irony.

" Cheers " burst into laughter with glasses chuckling noises and some men were drinking luxury brands of wines and beers.

Asha the birthday girl, who was born on s silver spoon never felt any economic issues. She always used to speak in a high pitch tone about her parents who are well off and she also uses her tongue of criticism at times for poor girls in our class.

It was time for the birthday cake cutting event, the walls were changed up with various photos of Asha since her born day up to now in a luxurious manner, even the decorations were soo luxurious. The birthday cake was ordered from a top class hotel and all in rhyme the guests sang " happy birthday " and all giggled with numerous snapshots ... I was too invited for a one-group snapshot.

Later on, after the big ladies' high-class gossips and men's boss conversations, the guests were invited for the dinner.

Suddenly was a man with two children at the front door was waiting but nobody noticed until the dog barked at them. Asha's mother quickly went near the door.

" Who all are you ??? Where are you all coming from... Get out !!"

" Madam, the man pleaded " we are hungry, can we have something...don't throw to dustbin ...please give us..to feed my children."

" I said to get out....we don't feed any beggars here... get out "

Tears fell into my eyes with that hot conversation, I did not feel hunger but I felt sad about those poor people. We all are humans, we all have emotions and feelings. Hunger is an equal feeling to all humans and even animals.

The grand ladies who filled up their plates have not eaten as they filled up all were thrown out to dustbin. I just felt heart aching by the sight of that thrown food.

" Asha, I spoke to her, " Can I have two parcels please for my pets" I just told a lie but I took that brave decision.

" Why not. Sure.."I could not say for my parents since they told me not to bring any food parcels as they restrict on some food.

Asha with a smiling face gave me the parcels and I just waved at the driver to say " let's go".

On the way, I asked the driver to stop the vehicle for moments, he was astonished bit without a word he stopped.

I got off from the vehicle and I quickly waved my hands at that man who came to Asha's house and I offered him the parcel and I said, " I'm sorry this quantity might not be enough as the party was not mine I was helpless if not I could have invited you to have dinner"

Tears fell off from the man's eyes he looked at me and said " You are a real lady ..thank you soo much madam...I will never forget this. I wanted to fill the empty tummies of my kids who are starving ."

My heart was about to broke, they were just under the roof of an old bus stop where there is no word of " comfort". I had no time to waste so I quickly got on the vehicle and I came home but my mind was thinking about the incident that took place.

You may have enough money to throw but just try to feed one stomach who is going to die from starvation it will save some lives.
