The Good In The Bad

Once upon a time, there was a nice old man who had 3 sons. The eldest son’s name was Lark. He was 30 years old. He loved to go on adventures and liked to travel. His dream was to travel all around the world. The middle son’s name was John. He was 25 years old. He liked nature and loved playing video games. His dream was to become a YouTuber. The youngest brother’s name was Ron. He was only 19 years old. He loved food and hated his eldest brother who was very handsome. His dream was to make his Dad proud.

A few years later, when lark turned 32, he set off for aspiring towards his dream. He left his brothers and father. Next, John also set off. And last but not least, Ron also set off.

Lark took the best flights for travelling where he wanted to go. He went to the UK, India, Australia, Paris, Mexico etc. He loved the experience as his dream had come true. But when he went to Mexico, he met some guys who taught him tips for learning about the world but also turned him to a bad person. He started avoiding his family and started to do bad things. He only learnt the bad things that his friends had taught him.

John went to Australia for becoming part of a YouTube channel so he could be famous. He joined a boys’ gang and started to ignore his passions and dreams. He learnt all the bad things from them.

Ron, on the other hand, got a job at a restaurant and earned a lot of money. With the money, he got his father some gifts and bought a house for himself. He then wanted to start his own company with his friend, Jen who knew a lot about business. She also had some jealousy but Ron did not pay attention to that. He started becoming the best businessman in the town and everyone started to notice him. He was getting very popular.

7 years later, they all decided to come back home for a few days. When the family reunited, everyone had changed. The eldest brother, a Lark, was very old and did not have any gifts or money for the family. His dream also did not come true. The middle brother, John had not learnt anything except learning bad things from his friends. But when Ron came, wearing a nice suit, his brothers and father were shocked. Lark asked Ron, “What are you trying to prove while wearing a stolen suit?”. Ron responded, “Well, I didn’t because I did not learn bad things from my friend and only looked at the positive things. With her, I started my own company and got rich. See, no one is perfect and everyone has positive and negative things but you should always look for the good in the bad.” His Dad was amazed and told the other brothers who had their mouths open, “this is what happens when you look at the negative side of a person”.

Ron was thankful to God That he could finally achieve his dream and was now in a situation to help his father and brothers lead a good life. They finally opened up their own restaurant in their native hometown and named it “serve with love” where they served delicious food to all and never charged the poor for food. The entire town was pleased and so was god, showering blessings on them forever…
