Dad Love...🖤

It was during one of those summer afternoons….

Swetcha’s mom was out to attend a family emergency…leaving her with all the options to cook for the day.

Being her first time in the kitchen, Swetcha was excited and decided to experiment on the day’s lunch. She decided to cook lady’s finger, and somehow managed it to be colorful and crispy.

Feeling proud of herself, she thought how surprised her father would be.

Her father came home after a hot day’s tiring work, expecting a hearty lunch. Surprised to see his daughter cook him such a meal, he quickly grabbed a bite of it.

With a sparkle in his eyes and all astonishment, he said-

“Yum yum, you cook far better than your mother!! You should teach her this recipe someday.’’

When he finished all the food in his plate, she asked him if he wanted more and he said- “why not??!!”

After his meal, he praised her once again and quickly left for his work.

Finally, proud Swetcha decided to eat her lunch and took her first bite.

BAM!! It’s all burnt, salty and totally inedible.

While feeling bad for her father, she heard the doorbell ring……and there’s a delivery boy with a big tub of ice cream.

In the meanwhile, she got a call-

“Hello Swetcha!! The lunch was great. But, I know you hate lady’s finger, you can skip the lunch ….and have the entire tub to yourself!!”

“thanks daddy”, she said with her moist eyes.
