Darkness

Darkness

In a dark room with not a single light,

Dwells your deepest fears growing bright.

Thoughts move in a swift, gushing flow,

And there is a great lack of a bright glow.

Sharp emotions are now floating free,

Anger, fear, sadness, guilt and glee.

Up in the mind, all is white and black,

Dreary with no colours to cut some slack.

Darkness at its best, yet it can’t get me,

For the bright light outside is here to be.

The fog lifting like in winter from the heat,

Is finally happening as a miraculous feat.
