Daughter of a Teacher

    Once there was this girl, Kanchan. She was the daughter of a well-known teacher in her school. Though her mother was a teacher, according to her it was more like a curse.

     People use you to help them with their homework. Classmates try to become friends just to impress your mother. You achievements are not praised, since others always think it is because of you mother. You have no true and loyal friend.

      Once Kanchan worked hard, she struggled and studied harder and harder for an exam. She scored a 100 but when her classmates got to know about it, they said it is because of her mother and said that all the teachers favour her and love her because of her mother Mrs. Sharma.

     Later that day when she got home she showed her score to Mrs. Sharma. Mrs. Sharma told her she did a great job and sent Kanchan back to her room. Kanchan was upset because that's what her mother always told her. 

     Kanchan felt heartbroken. She was not appreciated for her efforts and results. She often spent her recesses alone, because she had no friends. Everyone just came to her when they needed her and left her when not needed. She was aware that she was being used. 

      Her talents were indirectly neglected and her mother was indirectly comparing her to other kids. 

      She always felt lonely and stressed. Slowly her results were getting worse. Her mother yelled at her when for not saying about the pranks that her class decided to pull on the teachers, when even she was not aware of those. 

     Because of all this, one day she fell sick. Mrs. Sharma decided to stay home for 4 days so that Kanchan could recover. Those were the 4 days when Kanchan felt the love of her mother, she felt how it feels to have a mother. 

     Soon Kanchan recovered and her life before those 4 days begun. 

     Once after dinner, Kanchan went to her room and slept and her mother went to see what was she doing. She saw she had already slept. But then she found her Diary. She opened it and read it. She was in tears after knowing what her daughter was going through and is still going through. She was heartbroken when she read this

'I wish I fell sick everyday so I could experience my mother's love again' 

Next day onwards her mother completely changed...

Kanchan did felt a bit odd and different but she was happy.
