◈◈◈

In the quaint town of Chandrapur, simplicity adorned the lives of its people. Nestled in the heart of India, this serene town was known for its close-knit community, where everyone knew each other's names and shared in the joys of simple living. The town, with its narrow cobbled streets and charming houses, exuded an old-world charm. It was a place where laughter echoed through the alleys, and the evenings were filled with the comforting scent of homemade meals wafting from every kitchen.

One day, a puppeteer arrived in Chandrapur. His collection of beautiful dolls and toys enchanted the villagers, especially the children. With each show, the puppeteer weaved magic that captivated the hearts of the townsfolk. His popularity soared, and soon the people of Chandrapur, impressed by his talent, pleaded for him to stay. Delighted by their request, the puppeteer agreed to make Chandrapur his permanent home.

Days turned into weeks, and sinister incidents cast a dark shadow over the town! Children began falling mysteriously ill, their conditions worsening each night. Despite the efforts of worried families, the malady defied conventional medicine and traditional remedies. Chaos engulfed Chandrapur as, night after night, two or three children succumbed to the unidentified illness. High fever, extreme temperatures, and involuntary contractions plagued the young ones, leaving the elders of the town distraught and desperate for answers.

Arjun, Radha, Kishan, and Gopal, a group of friends whose concerns turned into action, decided to investigate the mysterious occurrences that unfolded each night. Meeting at the main chauk of their town at 10 pm, the friends initiated their clandestine investigation. Their suspicion fell on the puppeteer, who arrived seemingly coinciding with the sinister events.

Arjun said, "There's something off about that puppeteer. These illnesses started when he arrived. We should check his house."

"Yes, I have my doubts about him too," Kishan replied.

Convinced that the puppeteer was connected to the mysterious illness, the friends decided to secretly explore his house.

Peering through the window, they were met with a chilling scene.. the puppeteer, surrounded by darkness, performing an unholy, dangerous ritual. A black puppet, pierced with sharp pins, became a vessel for dark, supernatural forces as the puppeteer whispered ominous spells and offered his blood to bring it to life. In gruesome detail, the ritual unfolded. The puppeteer's face contorted with malevolence as he ruthlessly pierced sharp pins into the black puppet, whispering ancient and dangerous incantations. The atmosphere within the room crackled with unholy energy, intensified by the single candle flickering in the darkness. With a sudden, deliberate motion, the puppeteer slit his own finger, allowing a drop of blood to fall onto the puppet. The eyes of the puppet glowed with a sinister red light as an otherworldly force animated it.

"Oh my god! This is quite dangerous!", Radhika said in a frightened voice.

"Oh god, please save us from this evil..!, Gopal was really scared.

The malevolent puppet, now infused with dark energy, received sinister commands from its master.

The puppeteer started laughing with an evil sound. He said to the doll, "roam the town, peep into every house, and if you find a house where there are kids, then stop there, use your power and extract the life forces of those kids from their bodies. Find more like them as possible and then return them to me. I will use this energy to wake a dark monster that is sleeping, and I will make that monster my slave and with his absolute powers, I will rule this world!"

Upon hearing the commands of the master, the doll started walking immediately and went out of the house to start roaming around the town. After hearing the evil plans of the puppeteer, the kids, who were still there out of his house, got so much shocked! They understood that they needed to do something about this, they needed to take action and they must stop this evil puppeteer and his puppet from taking the life energy of the innocent kids if they didn't stop this, then the puppeteer would become successful in his plans and will rise something more horror, more sinister and more dangerous.

The friends split into two groups, with Arjun and Radha chasing the malevolent doll while Kishan and Gopal devise a plan to lock the puppeteer inside his house.

Arjun and Radha, follow the doll with cautious steps.

The doll, standing ominously near a house, sensed the life energy within. With raised hands, it cast dark, evil smoke towards the house, attempting to extract the life force of an innocent child. Arjun and Radha, witnessing this diabolical act, confronted the malevolent doll.

Arjun shouted and said, "Stop this evil act of yours, you dirty puppet!"

"Hahaha... I am just following the orders of my master. I can't stop, and if you come in my way, I'll kill you both!" It laughed and replied.

Facing the malevolent puppet, the friends realized they had to act swiftly to prevent further harm.

Meanwhile, Radhika saw a hanging lantern near the house. A great plan occurred to her. She quickly ran towards that lantern and took it in her hands. Arjun, by watching this, understood what Radha had planned in her mind. With deft movements, he immediately ran towards Radhika and took the lamp from her. Both were looking fearless and firm at that moment. They shouted towards the doll, and within a second, they threw that lamp towards the doll. As the lantern was filled with a rocket, the glass of the lantern broke, and the rocket fell on the doll. For the next second, the doll caught fire. It was screaming, but soon the cloth burned completely, and finally, the evil, sinister doll came to an end.

Here, as Arjun and Radhika were gone to chase the doll, Kishan and Gopal stayed near the Poppeteer's house. They were deliberating on how to ensure that the Puppeteer could be confined within his house and unable to escape. Suddenly, an idea struck Gopal's mind – they would discreetly approach the main door of the house and secure it from the outside by engaging the chain lock. Kishan agreed to this plan, and they proceeded with caution, moving with light steps and making no sound outside the main door. Kishan adeptly secured the door with the lock link, ensuring not create even the slightest noise. With the task completed, both felt relieved and decided to hide, patiently waiting for Arjun and Radhika to return.

As dawn approached, the friends regrouped and, in the morning light, bravely shared their story with the townspeople. They showed the remains of the dead evil puppet. Everyone became so much angry after all this. They made a group and went to the puppeteer's house, rushed inside angrily.

"Did you do these sinister things? Why? We believed in you and we were happy for you!" someone shouted angrily.

Faced with the weight of his sins, the puppeteer confessed. Upon hearing his confession, people became angry and started beating him hard and eventually locking him inside his own house to die.

Finally, the people of Chandrapur expressed gratitude to the four friends for their brave and selfless deeds, bringing an end to the malevolent presence that had plagued their town.
