First Day To School

Baabulu was fast asleep at 6:30 am. His mother, Shanthi, came out calling to him, "Baabulu... get up, you have to go to school."

Baabulu wanted to answer his mother back, saying "Amma... I'm so sleepy," but he couldn't respond due to his sleepiness.

His mother's heart churned as she looked at her son's face. She muttered to herself, "My bujji babu wants some sleep but had to sacrifice. So sorry to see him face the challenges in life from now on."

Baabulu lingered on the bed for a few more minutes and finally got up upon hearing his father's voice.

He got ready for school and walked to the school bus with his father. As he looked back at his mother to say 'bye' with a cute little sleepy face, his mother's heart ached to see the child.
