Giffy, The Giraffe

One day, in a jungle, Giffy, the Giraffe was playing hide and seek with his other siblings and came very far in the jungle, trying to hide from his other siblings. As he hid behind a tree, he fell asleep waiting for his siblings to catch him. He was woken up by the roar of the lion and his legs started shaking, shivering all over the body. He was reminded of his Mamma and Pappa and started crying uncontrollably. He closed his eyes tightly and remembered his mother's advice, that when in danger, he should always pray to God, and so he did, holding his two hands together. The lion's roar became feeble, but then suddenly, he could hear someone walking toward him. This made him even more scared and started praying nonstop. Something touched him, it was so familiar, that he immediately recognized it, wiped his tears, and opened his eyes. He was so very happy to see his Mamma standing right in front of him and hugged her tightly. His Mamma pacified him and slowly patted his back, walking together towards their home sweet home. On the way back home, Mamma advised Giffy, that no matter what play he indulges in, he should never go too far away from his home and that he should always be with his siblings, to which, Giffy, the Giraffe, nodded a yes, and apologized to his Mamma and promised her that he will always remember her advice and follow it up. Once they reached home, Giffy, the Giraffe was hugged by his siblings and Pappa, and then they all had dinner together and slept peacefully.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Always be alert and vigilant!!
