He Held Me Tight

I am trekking now with my brother. I am so tired! The surface is slippery and I have to take every step carefully. Our Trek guide was just walking ahead of us and my brother was some five steps ahead of me. As I am climbing the heights I feel that I am going to faint and my eyes are closing involuntarily and I slipped. I only felt a jerk in my body and someone is holding my hand tightly! Trying to pull me up!! I can hear a faded voice "..up!!! come on open your eyes...up!" I am trying to grab that hand tightly and climb." Now that hand has a firm grip on me. I know it is a man's hand and I loosened my body, relaxing, I let him lift me up, I want to open my eyes and see who he is!

And in a few minutes, I opened my eyes and I realized how deeply I fell asleep in a bus I was traveling for this trek with few strangers from different places. And he was so good looking. I can look at his eyes for the rest of my life, now I fell again! Fell for him... ! He said " Hi! I am Siva" my heart skipped and I said, "And I am your Parvathy." His eyes sparkled and lips curved with a small smile which immediately changed and pretended as if he didn't hear me. So I said "I mean my name is Parvathy"

He was giving instructions to us at the foot of the hill. " Hi guys! I am going to be your trek guide for the day... " He kept saying those usual do's and don'ts and I was just looking at him. Suddenly he stopped and looked at me and continued ".......Stay close to me, always be beside me and trust me you're going to love it... " suddenly I felt the gravity acting weirdly horizontal ! I was pulled towards him. I stood strong with great difficulty until we started moving... I know I'm pretty good at hiking. But today I need someone's hand, HIS hand to hold me tight and make me feel safe and secured. The rocks were slippery, I felt hard to take every other step of my life alone! And I slipped! A Hand held me tight. It was The Hand !! It was His Hand. He pulled me towards him and said: "I told you, Always stay close to me."

He always does this, holding me tight, and makes sure I am safe and will never let me go away from him. Even today he is holding my hand and doesn't want to let me go. Though my body has to go my soul will stay close to him.

We've loved for years, brought up our children with love and now they are married with love... so our love will continue forever...
