Home Alone

It started late one night with the noise outside. The wind blew as the tree rustled against the window. Two friends, Jack and Daniel, were having a sleepover at Daniel's house. One would call it terrifying that they were alone at his house. Daniel's parents were out handling a dire business emergency. The duo had several activities to keep them entertained throughout the cold, stormy night. The storm had been going on for a few days, and Jack had come prepared with enough batteries and rations to Daniel's house. Then, in mere silence, they heard a faint knock from the front door.

Daniel gestured for Jack to go and peep through the eyehole. However, Jack, because they were alone, chose to ignore it. Jack sat back down on the bed with a creak coming from below. Before they could proceed with their plans, they heard a feeble voice that sounded like a call for help. It sounded like a female who was old and weak. 

They jumped on their toes and ran to her assistance. They opened the door only to find a blood-soaked apparition. They slammed the door in its face out of utter disbelief. Lightning struck in the sky, and thunder boomed far, far away, but it was still scary to them as they were still recovering from the shock.

The next moment, the apparition came through the door. Second, by the second, it overpowered them using black magic and finally devoured them maniacally.
