In Town

As soon as it was past seven in the evening, people feared the place very much and stopped going there. It had became a everyday story. These things may seem like children's stories but some things are really true. There was always a quarrel in a house. The neighbours became restless. The man always tried to stop his wife but she did not want to understand anything. Every night the girl would take care of her thick black hair by opening the window but the girl's mother-in-law warned her several times about the circumstances but she didn't pay any heed to and did not even bother to listen to her despite many prohibitions.

Older people in the past used to believe in ghosts more and by saying this she used to taunt her mother-in-law. After a while, the girl began to feel that her hair was beginning to change every moment. She didn't realize anything serious so she thought she didn't need to tell anyone. Her motherhood also began to have many problems. There was no special benefit even after visiting the doctors, till then two to three years have passed. Her mother-in-law had the wish to see her grandson. A month later, the girl gave birth to a boy with great difficulty. The doctors had told either the mother or the child would live. The nurses didn't even come close. The girl was shocked to see her son for the first time. The hospital had released the mother and the child as soon as possible as the doctors also did not want to keep them for long. If the girl was angry, she used to tell whatever came to her mind with a very rude behaviour. She insulted a holy saint who lived next door to them, and he cursed the girl that something strange was about to happen in her life. Nowadays these words are blown away simply as these are believed to be false.

A strange baby was born with a huge body compared to the head, sharp teeth, blue mark under the chin, and the hair on his head was not normal, it seemed just like a bamboo stick. After bringing the boy home, discussions started in the neighborhood about his strange behavior, often many people came to visit the new type of child and everyone called him a demon. Rumors about these started circulating overnight. When the baby screamed, it sounded like groaning. He began to eat more than usual which was impossible for a small child, he was very small in size than his age. When and What would happen everytime,everyone in the house was scared. He died about fourteen days later. But today they could understand why this had happened to them only. These are probably the result of the girl's actions.
