Inside Drama - Bollywood

When you see it from the outside, the entire Bollywood Industry seems so fir, so beautiful, star-studded with diamonds at times, but the truth is very different. Deep Inside, for people like us, the ones who work or are associated with this Industry, the Bollywood industry is dark and has its own secrets.

December 1999

Strange enough, my story with the Industry started in the year 1999 when I joined the industry as an Individual PR, and my first project was a movie featuring 2-debutantes, directed by one of the debutantes father, the main hero of the movie.

Now, back in the day, heroes had a different personality. but this hero was different (Much other reason apart from the extra thumb) He was good-looking, yet shy.

My first interaction with both of them was great, though the female lead, Amrita (Name Changed) was pretending as she has already won Oscar for her role, but not something that I was no prepared for. Our hero, Hrishikesh (Name Changed) was physically annoyed by her. Though these guys kept having sex with each other, they were completely hating each other.

Yeah, the moment I found out that sleeping with whoever and whenever and wherever was common in Industry, I too, was shocking. It actually was when I found out that a leading daily-soap producer used to sleep with all the leading ladies she casts.

Now, moving back to the moment when the movie was released, we got a good media reaction, which was supposed to be, as the Richy rich father paid handsomely to all the entertainment journalists to keep the good news floating about the movie. Behind the scene, a lot of money was spent on buy radio spots, radio channels, Rj's, TV spots, anchors, journalists, critiques, newspapers, wires, billboards, theaters. every seat was paid for, people were given the tickets for free, just to fill in the seats for the first 4 days, awards were brought by the kilos.

This smart or super smart investment-led to the current success of our hero and downfall of the heroine, because, the lead found that she slept with his father, too.
