Introspection Of Love

He caught her staring out of the window. She was so still that for a minute he wondered if she was even breathing. He went towards her carefully and touched her lightly, causing her reverie to be broken with a jolt.

What are you looking at – he asked. She pointed toward a lone girl sitting in the meadow. The girl seems to be just sitting there. Maybe the girl was reading a book, possibly listening to music or maybe just sitting. It was too far to see.

“What do you see”

“I see myself. It is like a reflection of myself or maybe a hologram. Do you think that is possible, to introspect by projecting out “

“I am sure psychologists might know of such things more, but lets assume it is you. What are you doing?”

”I am thinking of the different kinds of love there is “

“Are there different kinds of love?”

“Of course, the Greek as you would expect had a whole booklet on them like Agape (unconditional spiritual love), Eros ( sexual love), Philia ( the affectionate kind ) or Pragmus ( the enduring kind) to name a few. But I wasn’t thinking of them. These seem too much of a clinical definition”

He smiled, she knew the wildest of things and still was innocent on lot others. She was a child hidden in a woman – So what kind of love were you thinking of?

” I was thinking of how sly real love is. It appears unbridled but has hidden bridles. In its effort to be interesting all the time, it has got a few tricks. The favorite one is to convince the mind into creating an illusion and then inviting reason to make it happen. Like a game of charades between the heart and the mind. I think Love is an attention seeker”

And what is our love?

The mischievous spark comes into her eyes as she takes his coffee cup for herself. Of course, you are my Ludus darling! And I know you are going to rush to google to find out what it means!
