Kurukshetra

Arjun’s eyes are now filled with tears,

scared by the Kaurav’s conch shell he hears.

He is filled with compassion for his relatives,

remembering his natives.

Gandiva was slipping from his hand,

all he could see was a huge army on the Kurukshetra land.

His skin was burning,

his heart beating vigorously.

His mouth went dry,

and all he could do is,

cry.

Consequences of the war haunted him,

all he could do is dump his emotions within.

He has forgotten the meaning of Hanuman,

which is his chariot’s insignia,

but the he at Kanaiya.

But now who is Kanaiya?

his eyes twinkling mischief,

his dark complexion as a dark dusk,

the scent of the flowers in his garland,

his orange dhoti stealing the show,

his aura has a different glow.

He is the Supreme as a charioteer,

his eyes crystal and clear,

He is Krishna the form of Vishnu

He says, “ Kaunteya, I can see the compassion for your relatives hidden in you.”

“ I see your tears reflecting the memories you spent.”

“But at what cost?”

“ Remember how they disrobed Draupadi.”

“ Remember how they tricked you into exile.”

“ Look at Duryodhan, his heart burning with vengeance.”

“Oh Dhananjay! This fight must be fought. For Peace, For Karma, for DHARMA!”

Arjuna said,

“Oh Janardana! I see my lineage going to be destroyed.”

“This is a war I must avoid”

“Oh Hrishikesha! I see no harm in quitting from Kurukshetra!”

Krishna said,

“Parth, you have forgotten that you are a powerful Kshatriya, the class which sticks to their word.”

“Forget this material happiness a d surrender unti me.”

“I, is all you have to see.”

Arjun said,

“ Oh Krishna, I negotiate peace with myself.”

Krishna said,

“Sabyasachi, you are forgetting you GARIMA.”

“Let me recite to you the Bhagavad Gita!”
