Lab rat husband

Every fine morning always start with a bright sunny day and birds singing melodiously.

 Like a fine morning start with sun and bird, a fine morning in a home starts with a mum, wife opening the curtain and allowing the sun to shine brightly into the room. Lola did so and as usual, it made her husband and kids cover their face with the pillow. Once they got back to their senses, they freshen up amd came down stairs for breakfast which was always waiting for them.

 Soon after the breakfast Lola went to work leaving behind her husband who was on a day off and her kids. Mike who was Lola's husband went to Lola's lab despite not allowed to with the kids and touched everything and anything. On the process of touching a chemical with an X sign spill on him, he wiped it up and that was the end of touching for that day.

Few weeks has gone after the incident with the X signed chemical and some changes began.

 First hair grew all over his body and his teeth increased. While having breakfast Lola saw his monster like teeth and she knew what it was, so she drag him to her lab and examine him and even gave him several shots of injections. It took almost the whole day before she could get him back to his normal self and this made Mike weak.

 The following day Mike woke up only to see everyone gather around him. Due to what happened to him Lola called him lab rat husband because he almost turned into a rat. 

He laughed about it but never went into the lab again because he fear he may turn into another creature for good with no changing back to human. At least that was what he thought not knowing after that day he became half human and half rat. At day a normal human and at night a rat, that was a shocking experience for all but after few years of trying to help him become human again Lola gave up because Mike has already accepted his new self. With this great change the family relocated to a countryside so it's almost impossible for someone to know their hidden secret.
