Student life is that learning curve which sculpts one’s individuality. “Student life is the seed of your life, plant it wisely.” A student is prepared to face obstacles. They learn to obey, respect, be punctual, perform duties and discipline themselves. Our cognitive and social development takes place. A student’s life is a valuable period where we learn and grow.

School life is full of joy and happiness as we don’t shoulder any worries or tensions, but at the same time, it is also tiring as it sets the foundation for our whole life. There’s a myth that school life is easy, but in reality, school life is the toughest of all.

Thought is the wind, knowledge the sail and mankind the vessel”, staying with the above premise, school teachers sharpen our thinking processes making us understand under which wind to sail and by virtue of doing so steer us in the right direction. We take our first steps of learning to stay away from the four protective walls of our home. We learn disciplinary skills which enhance our personality. We learn to mingle with other students and teachers.

Training acquired during school life is what turns us into better individuals. Our minds are like lumps of clay moulded into young personalities. We are enveloped in a comfort zone prepared by our parents and teachers where we are guided by our elders in all our ups and downs during school.

Every child goes through a period of transition when they advance from the friendly, protective environment of the school to the open spaces of college.

As we move into college, we start experiencing the real world. We come out of the parental comfort zone and face the world searching for our identity. We meet new people and, in the process, learn to respect their opinions while growing ourselves. We learn the keys to survival in the outside world. Life exposes us to new experiences and things that were not familiar to us earlier.

We learn to deal with stress along with a heavy load of pending assignments. We experience the pride as well as the stress of shouldering huge responsibilities. At this stage, the mind is in a huge state of flux. This is the time when we start working toward developing our careers. Management of stress is the skill that separates those who succeed from those who fail, as the college has a positive as well as a negative impact on the students.

Students in college are highly conscious, often creating an imaginary ambience where they feel all are praising them as parental influence diminishes. Depending on one’s observance and imbibement, college either makes us or breaks us.

During school, students are taught to study from textbooks, while in college we learn to apply our minds to text. A student’s life revolves around studies. But in the process, we learn to draw a balance between studies and extra-curricular activities to shape our careers.
