Monstrous Sarang - 11

Erik's POV also known as Rayon's POV

After Milton's body fell on the floor with a loud thud the other men began to run towards the door banging on it. I looked at them with the same sarcastic look but not even bothering them anyway. 

" How dare you talk about her like that? Don't you know who she was to me? Oh yeah, You didn't know that right? But even though what you did was a big fault, you have the biggest gift in return. DEATH! " I said in my deep cold voice which boomed throughout the whole room.

The other men who were rambling on the door automatically bent down while their heads hung in the air as my stare focused on them.

I could hear some rushing footsteps and my beloved brother's whisper yell through mind links.

' What the hell Rayon!! Just leave from here before anyone could burst in! I'll take care of those two students by brushing off the memories about you! JUST MOVE AWAY FROM HERE BEFORE NATASHA COULD ARRIVE! ' 

Tenison Hyung was shivering and blabbering like it was the first murder of his little brother as he already faced numerous ones.

I rolled my eyes at hearing her name which changed my mind in a second to my usual calm state and thus I realised what I'd done and where I'd done.

_Omo! I killed him in the damn college. Where Natasha is just a block away from. S**t. What have I done?!_ 

Now I'm freaking out like my brother. Aaishh, now I could understand why he was strangely freaking out for a normal murder.

" Fine! " I blurted out finally after hearing Hyung's non-stop yelling. I looked around the room and found my specs across a table.

Thank god I found it or else I would have to pretend Natasha from seeing my eyes.

The two men who were kneeling on behalf of their dead friend were still looking at the floor and I could feel the power which calmly evaluated from only my hyung's aura.

I heard a twirl of the knob across the door and Natasha ran in looking shocked.

Natasha's POV 

I was in the college library glancing at a book when I heard a grievous gunshot. I was stunned at the spot until I had a glimpse of Erik's injured state.

And the next second I rushed towards the nursing room and found an empty bed. Erik's tablets were still at the side of the bed but he was not there.

I shouldn't have left him alone. 

Once again I heard a gunshot from the building which was straight opposite to me.

Professor Tenison was at one of the doors, kicking the door to get it open. I intensely ran there while half of the college surrounded that building looking like a bunch of ants crowded around honey.

Throughout the huge yells from the crowd, I heard professor Tenison calling Erik once very slowly but quickly shot a glance over at everyone around and went back to kick the door.

Milton's face passed through my vision which made me remember his warning.

I escaped from that crowd and rushed towards the door. The door broke and I burst in before someone could get in.

I let out my breath not figuring any of Erik's features in there while in the meantime I grabbed my heart at the sight of Milton's bloody corpse which was on the floor lifeless.

Someone grabbed me by arm and turned me back from facing that crucial sight. As I'm a little bit scared, my eyes became gloomy as my vision got blurry even though I could feel a warmth around me. Someone was hugging me to their chest.

I didn't feel odd, it was familiar and it didn't make me stiffen around someone's hold. That isn't Dan or anyone nor Erik but someone. Who was-

My thoughts were scattered by that soft voice.

" Cool down, cool down, relax. Don't cry. He's alright. " Through those soft soothing words, I relaxed a little and looked at professor Tenison who was sweating because of the nervousness.

I couldn't feel anything other than his brotherly softened gaze which rested on my somewhat relaxed teary face. He whipped my tears and murmured something which I couldn't hear.

" Natcha! " 

I looked in the direction immediately and hugged Erik who came rushing. I hugged his neck and started crying loudly.

I didn't even think about anyone or bothered that I'm in the centre of my college hugging his neck crying out loud. Erik was startled a bit but he responded to my hug soon but with little hesitation.

His hands wrapped around my back and he tapped my hair softly mumbling soft words to calm me down.

He's been thinking that I was crying because of the corpse but I'm actually crying for him. He obviously didn't know what he meant to me during those 7 minutes when I didn't see him anywhere.

I couldn't think of him leaving me or something bad happening to him anyways. I couldn't control my tears which were now drenching his hoodie but he seemed like he too wasn't bothering as he was still trying to calm me down.

I could feel my sobbing die down in some minutes and my heart which ached like he's been assaulted, now understood that he's fully alive and he's there standing right in front of me while holding me in his arms which means that he's actually, absolutely, exactly, definitely, perfectly, whole heartedly, safe.

Tenison's POV

After hearing Rayon as well as Erik's response I started focusing on the souls and erased their memories about him. At the end of the process when I kicked the last time before I could enter into the room a panicked Natasha rushed in like a storm and was stunned in three steps.

I rushed back and turned her to my embrace, preventing her from seeing that. But I was too late. She was already shivering at that sight and her hands changed cold.

I didn't even focus on my own brother who wasn't there. I tried to relax her and as she did, I gave a quick glance to my little dongsaeng(Junior) who was rushing towards us in his same innocent and nervous look.

I felt Natasha's stare and immediately looked at her nervously to find whether she was still not relaxed. But I couldn't help but give my same fond look whenever I see her little cute chocolate brown eyes.

" You're safe, Nookie, " I mumbled without knowing what I said, her brows met and before she could recognise what I said, she jumped from me and hugged Erik or maybe Rayon.

What do I call him now? It's better to call him Rayon. Then who would actually face that little monster for calling him with his real name?

I looked at them with Natasha's loud cry. She clung to Erik like a koala and I think he was surprised and not startled.

But Nookie didn't know that I could hear her thoughts. Yup, that's always a crime to invade someone's privacy but as a brother, or her friend's brother, or her brother's best friend I have the responsibility to take care of her mental health always, even if my stubborn best friend refused to allow it to our little sis.

Speaking of the devil there he comes. I bit my inner cheek and lifted my brow at Daniel who was sternly or intimidatingly looking at something which was in my back.

Oh, yeah. My little brother and his little sister were there hugging each other and near each other's warmth which was always a restricted act by my best friend. 

I didn't look surprised by his arrival as I knew he's really trained well in keeping everything down and he kept his identity really down so we didn't even get to know whether he was alive or not. 

But he has changed. He had dyed his hair brown. He looked more muscular than when we saw him. Those eye bags under his eyes stood out from his looks due to the over-exhaustion of trying to keep his sis safe.

I think I should not laugh at him right now or else he would lung me in the forest to death later tonight while he was sincerely throwing daggers into my little brother. Now Daniel's eyes landed on me and within a second his emerald eyes glow showing his fury.

But before I could tell him about the incident, my eyes landed on a certain girl who ran from behind Daniel catching up with his hands and rushing towards me. I mean towards the two behind me.

I noticed their clasped hands and looked back at Daniel who was blinking and trying to pull his hand back from the girl who was not even bothered by that.

I gave a how-dare-you-betray-your-friend-you-buffollow look to him while transparently looking mad. Daniel gulped and shook his head while giving me back a puppy look.

I could surely tell that the girl was his one and only loveable mate which even now is confirmed by the silver pendant on her neck. It's Daniel and Natasha's mom Iyaana's. Which she gave him for his future mate.

How did he hide his one and only mate from us? I'll teach you a lesson today.

While I was getting ready for a battle I was yanked back by someone who was none other than my little brother.

" Thank God, sir, you're safe. I literally thought you had died in that gunshot as I heard your yell. Since I saw you here I'm desperately relieved. Thanks for surviving! " he was blabbering without stopping, which is 100% surely strange for him.

Aish!! I just forgot that he's playing an innocent, kind and scared college student role right now. I think I should go along with him as that's the only way to make Natasha and everyone around us believe in us.

" Stop talking in your mind and play along, Hyung! " Erik whispered near my ear with his gritted teeth.

" Yeah, yeah, I'm safe Eri-" I stopped suddenly remembering my previous warning on how to call him, but he looked straight at my eyes to just go along as I did.

" I'm safe. I'm safe, Erik. Yup, I heard the gunshot and yelled without knowing, " I said and side glanced at Daniel but he was quite confused as to what I meant.

But rather than being quiet, he opened his mouth after looking at my little brother.

" So you were there at the spot and by any chance did you know anything about the murderer, Mr? " Daniel asked with questioning gazes as if he didn't even know anything that the real killer was standing beside me directly facing him.

" I'm Fransis Tenison. I wasn't really at the spot of the murder. I was in rounds while checking students and in the middle, I heard a gunshot and I rushed in the direction, ended up in the hallway and found the particular classroom where the sound came from. But before I could get in the murderer had disappeared away. " I told a realistic lie which could be easy to believe and yeah both of my beloved's mates believed it.

Oh, I think I didn't mention that my little brother and our Nookie were destined mates which is still unknown by Nookie aka Natasha.

But all of a sudden the cute pretty girl caught my collar and glared at me like I had stalked her for life. But that was the second, I found out that she was an actual omega who has a blue aura which means she's definitely not a normal one. 

" Reena, what are you doing?? Leave him! " Daniel yelled at his mate. Oh, nice name.

"How could you say this Mr Dark? Didn't you see your sister who was crying and this man- this man was the reason behind her sobbing! " she snarled at Daniel.

' WHAT! HEY, NO!! THAT WAS MY BROTHER! AISH! IT'S BECAUSE OF HIM, YAA! OMO!! RAYON, I'M GOING TO SMACK YOU FOR DAMAGING MY REPUTATION AT THE CENTRE OF THE COLLEGE, YOU RASCAL! '

I mind linked Rayon but he was not even giving me a look as he was wholeheartedly looking at his mate.

" I think You're misunderstanding, Miss! " I tried to explain to the cute little feisty friend of our Nookie but she was a little scarier.

Daniel, who was not even bothered by her statement, took her hand and released her grasp as he knew about me and trusts me with his life.

" Dark, you're just- why can't you trust What I saw? I saw him hugging your crying sister and- " she began only to be cut off by Daniel.

" That doesn't mean she got hurt by him in any way, love. I trust you and what you saw but maybe he was just trying to save her or something like that, " 

Woah !!! Daniel is getting better near girls other than Nookie. Wait what-? Did they both say that she saw something? The thing I hugged Nookie? Should I ask them now?? Better be quiet.

But in between my debut with myself,

" When did you guys start calling each other with different names?? " Natasha's muffled voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

When I turned to look at Natasha I saw my brother looking in some direction and found my own eyes glowing as I witnessed yellow coloured eyes focused on his mate far away from the college even away from the vast habitat of wild animals which was also known as the Engardian Forest.
