The Best Father

In a small village called Patilaputra, there lived a boy named Ram.. Ram lost his mother during his birth.. so his father took care of him.. His father was a part time worker, who worked for a rich man called Seth.. Seth's son Pawan and Ram were good friends they studied in the same school. 

  Being the son of rich man Pawan had many things which Ram's father couldn't afford him.. And this disappointed Ram so much.. 

 Ram : Baba!!! I want a same watch just like Pawan.

  Baba : sorry beta!! But I don't have money to buy it for you now . But I will try to provide you by next month

 Ram : No baba . I want it right now. 

  

Baba gets saddened with the fact that he wasn't able to provide his son ..

  With the passage of time Ram's demand started to increase more and more day by day.  

  

Ram : Baba!!! I have asked you for a new smartphone phone that was launched yesterday. But you handed me an old Nokia phone.....(bang) {Ram breaks the phone into pieces}

 Baba : (wipes) sorry beta !! Sorry!!!!

 Ram : Baba!!! my life is miserable ... And you are responsible for everything.. You are the one for whom I am living the life of poverty.. U have finished my life baba!!!

  

Baba wipes again and again in grief

  One Sunday., Ram in order to fulfill his wishes decides to steal money from his father's old broken cupboard..

 Ram to himself : Let baba go to the market in the evening .. I will surely still all his savings and buy myself a brand new motor bike..This time I will surely make Pawan feel jealous..

 

Baba : Beta Ram!! Your food is on the table have it on time.. I will bring some vegetables from the Market..

Ram : sure baba..

Baba: Beta do you want me to bring anything more for you???

Ram: No baba

Baba takes out his old rusted cycle, carrying a bag in his hand and leaves for the Market.

 

Ram to himself: Finally baba have left.. now I can do my business.

Ram open the old cupboard and finds certain documents...

 

Ram to himself: oww!! What is this now? Let me check..

 Ram : (astonished) no it can't be true !!.. no no!!!(crying)

  

Ram crying in grief sits down near the old broken cupboard.. and still looking at the documents .. eyes filled with tears.. 

 

After an hour, Baba returns from the Market

Baba: Beta Ram!! Beta Ram!! Where are you?? See I have got you your favourite fruits .. where are you beta?? Baba is waiting from you(shouts for Ram)

  

Baba searches for Ram everywhere inside and outside their house.. and finally finds him sitting near the cupboard and weeping 

 

Baba: Ram what's wrong beta .. why are you crying.. (in a worried voice)

Ram: (crying) why baba? why? Why did you hide it from me?

 Baba: what happened Beta.. what did I hide ??(worried voice)

Ram: Baba why didn't you tell me that both my kidneys are failed. And you are the donar.. (crying)

Baba: (speechless)..... I didn't want you to be tensed and get upset with this.. I want to give you a life that every child have.. but I have failed to fulfill the duties as a Father.. I couldn't provide u with what you want(crying)(low voice)

Ram: I am sorry Baba!! I have always misunderstood you.. I am sorry... You have given me an unimaginable gift (crying).. sorry Baba please pardon me!!!

 Baba : (crying.)

 

 2 years passed Ram's surgery was successful but baba was no more..

 

Ram:(looking at his father's hanged portrait). Baba you were the best father ever but I wasn't able to understand you.. I valued the materialistic things more back then.. I didn't see your love.. sorry Baba.. I have realised my mistakes (weeping).. I am left alone Baba.. please come back Baba !! Please come back!!!! I am all alone(weeping again and again)..
