THE BOASTFUL WINTER

One day, the Winter Season was boasting about himself. He was also making fun of the Spring Season saying, "when you come, everyone behaves as if a never-ending festival is going on. They wear attractive clothes and have merrymaking like mad people." At this, the Autumn Season interrupted saying, "But during the Spring Season, it rains and the wind blows as hard as it does in Winter." Winter said, "But if I want I can keep them imprisoned in their homes for several days. I make them tremble whenever I feel like it. I am the king and everyone has to obey me." Spring Season was listening to everything. He said, "You are proud of yourself for what all you do to disturb people. They can live without you but I am greeted by them always. They eagerly wait for me and above all they love me. I bring smiles to their faces and you bring stress to them." Winter Season had no words now and finally, he felt pity for his mistake.
