THE MAGICAL STONE

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Tina. She also had an elder brother named tom who was very greedy. They lived with their parents in a big house near a beautiful park. 

One day she went to the park and was running around but suddenly fell down. When she got up she saw a strange but beautiful looking stone. She decided to take it home. Mother loved it as it was very beautiful. She kept it on the table and went into the kitchen to see what was made for lunch. She went and saw that bitter guard was made. She really hated it. Unknowingly she put the stone in her hand and wished the bitter gourd to change into her favourite pizza. And to her surprise the lunch changed into delicious pizza. She ate the lunch and remembered that she had some homework.

 

That day she did not want to do the homework but she had to submit it tomorrow morning. She unknowingly again put the stone in her hand and wished the homework not to be checked tomorrow. And again a message came on her mother's phone which said that the homework will not be checked tomorrow. She was very happy but surprised. She decided to check whether the stone is magical or not. She kept the stone on the table and wished her yellow dress to change to red.

 

But she found herself in the same yellow boring dress. Now she was sure that the stone was magical. To secure it, she kept it in a nice wooden box and kept it in her almirah. But somehow her brother got to know about the secret and stole the magical stone. Tina was unaware of it but when she got to know she became worried. She decided to tell the whole story to her mother and so she did. The mother heard the whole story and had a plan which she told to Tina. Tina was very happy.

 

Mother called tom and asked whether he had the stone or not. Tom replied in yes. Then mother told him that it was his friend Robert’s. Then mother sent tom to play with Robert for some time. Mother had already told the plan to Robert. As tom went there, Robert asked about the stone. Tom refused to give it back. Then Robert said that he had an even more powerful stone. Tom wanted to exchange and asked him about the same. Robert agreed but said tom to give first. Tom quickly brought his stone and gave it to him. Robert took it and went to take his which he never had.

 

He said that he had kept his stone in the park near the tree. He went outside, secretly gave the stone to Tina and picked up an ordinary stone and gave it to tom. And poor tom assumed the stone to be real.
