The Man Who Threw His Laptop

On a sunny day, a man threw his laptop out of the window...of a bus he was travelling in, pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket and cleaning sweat off his forehead muttered, "to hell with your job! I've had enough!" Alarmed, the conductor asked the driver to stop the bus even as puzzled commuters stared at the man.

The conductor made his way closer to the man, and said in a nasalized tone, 'What! you got too many laptops, yeah. What's the matter? Why did you throw that?" the man silently kept looking out of the window... there was an uneasy silence. He suddenly rose up from his seat saying, "Sorry. You guys can proceed. I follow my destiny." He then jostles to the exit door.

The bus resumes its journey...

The man walks up to his laptop, pauses for a moment, sighs, bends down on his knees and picks his laptop. Shaking his head he opens the laptop and tries to turn it on, however it fails to power on. He embraces his laptop close to his bosom and begins to sob. Robby had been fired from his job a few months ago. A job he had loved had thrown him on the road. Ever since he had sought to be a freelance writer. Impressed by his writings, his previous employer hired him back as freelance writer. Robby did not like to take U-ie in life. Robby would rather remain jobless than to go back to the job which had left him heart-broken Today, Robby had the worst news he could have ever imagined; he lost his ladylove (he had been planning to marry) in a road accident. Robby felt torn apart. All his plans came crashing down. His hopes of starting a new life began to fade away like a phantom in the mist. He felt he lost his entire world. All he had with him was his broken laptop.

As Robby sat by the roadside, crying. He then noticed a butterfly flying about by some wild flowers. He wanted to catch it but noticed a snake amid the grass beneath the flower plant. As he watched the scene in silence, the snake all of a sudden in one powerful strike snuffed the life out of the butterfly...

Robby realized he still had a life to live on...

Robby rose on his feet like a fighter against all challenges and walked away out of the scene.
