Ravi was a good mathematician. In school, he outshone his peers. His teachers were therefore naturally very fond of him. His love for the subject knew no limitations. In fact he neglected his other subjects to devote more time to his passion. He could solve complex mathematical problems in very little time. His maths teacher use to provide him with books on the subject which were way beyond the comprehension of the class. In his free time he used to help other students both of his and lower classes with their difficulties in Maths. As he progressed in his learning life he came across a topic called algorithm and got completely hooked. In his doctoral subject he chose the role of algorithm in share trading. Simultaneously he was curious enough to know the role of behavioral science on the mental build up of share traders. He started reading a lot of books on the subject. The Internet provided a lot of help. After completing his thesis Ravi joined as a faculty of a Management institute and his subject was investment and finance. He took special classes on behavioral science. His curiosity on the mindset of a share trader while trading was greatly aroused. Ravi read a lot of material on investment. Benjamin Graham a pioneer in value investment became his guru. He followed works of other big investors like Warren Buffet, Peter Lynch etc.

Within a few years after gaining substantial experience Ravi launched his own fund. A reputed mutual fund house made an agreement with him to tap his knowledge and skills. With his immense knowledge and dedication Ravi's fund grew many fold. The investors under his umbrella were raving about him and were very grateful to him as because of him their wealth had jumped manifold.

But life can take very unpleasant twists suddenly which may change life irreversibly. Such an incident happened with Ravi. As Ravi's activity had grown manifold and the fund he managed had risen to humongous proportions. So as a result Ravi was unable to micromanage all the things. Greed is one trait of the human nature from time immemorial that has been the cause of down fall of many a mortals. Ravi also became a victim of this. But it was not his greed because in his personal life he was a very balanced person. His associates and employees who were under his trust connived together and cheated him of several crores of rupees from the fund. The fund lost huge money. Investors complained. The Regulator instructed Ravi as he was the chief fund manager to make good the loss and compensate the investors otherwise face black listing. All of a sudden Ravi's life came to naught. Years of effort and build up had been wiped away. But Ravi was not to be daunted. He had very good upbringing which had made him very resolute and determined. For many years he had been to meditation and yoga which had strengthened him from inside. So initially this may have been a shock to him but very soon overcame it. Ravi slowly Consolidated his wealth from every where and he had substantial of it because he was a minimalist and practised it thoroughly. Ravi cleared all the dues of each and every investor and spared himself from disgrace and ignominy. This event had a deep impact on Ravi and he was no longer interested in managing the fund he built. As he was spared from black listing his fund's credit worthiness increased hugely. The fund was taken up by a foreign reputed fund house at a tidy sum of money. All the employees and investors were taken up.

Ravi now had a change of heart. He thought of doing something else. The money he received he purchased Annuity from an insurance company and registered for a good pension as his life's needs were limited. He had one daughter who was married away to a good well established groom. Favky now turned his attention towards giving back to the society from which he had received so much.

He opened a special coaching class only for maths and started giving tutorials to the needy free of cost.

This transformation definitely benefited the society immensely.
