Where Am I?

"Oh, why don't you believe me Abhay?

Charu just vanished in front of my eyes," screamed Yuvaan.

Abhay looked on with skepticism just not convinced. He ordered some of his official men to arrange for professional scuba divers to look out for Charu underwater.

The men were underway into their work.

"I'm sorry Yuvaan but I've to arrest you for the disappearance of Charu," said Abhay.

Yuvaan was shocked beyond words.

"What!!! I just accompanied the two of you in your search and here you are blaming me. How can you doubt me on being an accomplice in Charu's disappearance?" 

The divers were given complete detailed instructions on the further action and Abhay decided to go to the police station to file a report on Charu's disappearance.

"I completely understand your viewpoint Yuvaan. But I'm bound by my duty and have to arrest you. Please come with me to the station."

Unfortunately, Yuvaan was put behind bars and his intense interrogation was on. He tried to explain every single detail to the police. Abhay was getting more and anxious as time was going on. 

Where could Charu be?

Abhay ordered his men to look out for any kind of clue that would throw light on the strange happenings.

As evening dawned, the divers were still searching and looking out. There was no success in their search. Ultimately they had to leave the search and got back to the station to give their report.

Elsewhere.....

As she was looking out in through the underwater with Yuvaan, Charu felt a kinda shock shoot through her body and suddenly, she was blinded by strange neon light.

"Where am I? Why am I here?" Charu tried to come to terms with her current situation but her mind seemed clouded. Of course, the bright neon lights around her equally blinded her eyes. Surprisingly, she remembered she had been around with Yuvaan. She tried looking around for Yuvaan but couldn't find him anywhere around. 

She realized she was still underwater but was at the entrance of something that looked like a palace. 

Charu found the entrance being guarded by two handsome-looking merman. Curiosity took over her and she entered the same place. Once again, she was surprised that the guards did not stop her but in fact, saluted her in some strange dialect. The entrance horn was rung and Charu found here surround by beautiful mermaids adorned gracefully, glide towards her, and took her inside.

Charu just couldn't fathom where she was and just went with the flow. She was guided by the mermaids to a beautiful chamber. As she entered it, something caught her eye. 

 "Oh my, it's the same sword !!", though she. 

Charu was overcome with a kind of Deja Vu. She was still trying to figure out what and where she was.

"Who are these mermaids and why are so kind to me and where are they taking me to?"

The sword caught her eye again and again. Inside the chamber, the mermaids took her to a washroom where they set up the beautiful bath with aromatic rose petals and lovely candles around. 

Charu laid in the bath and was soon drifted to deep sleep. When she awoke, she was refreshed completely.

It suddenly struck her...maybe she had entered into a portal that has taken her into her past...
