The Flower And The Wind
The Flower And The Wind
An innocent flower gracefully drifted across the sky,
Unknown to where the brisk breeze would take her to.
She followed the air faithfully clueless of him as a sly
And got deceived by the wind's brusque harangue and skew.
The air's unpredictability shattered her heart and mind,
She now began to question his constancy.
But her selfless love made the flower so blind.
She never gave up her passion and loyalty.
Sometimes a breeze and other times a gale,
With him, she's even been through a hurricane.
But the shimmer in her petals never seemed to fade;
Her determination didn't let her despondency prevail
Oblivious to the future, at present the flower fights
With a glint of hope in her heart that won't subside.
"One day I will fly with him above all the heights,
He'll be forever stable and soon will this betide."
Yet the wind is bound to change, depending upon the days;
It's his nature from which it's hard to refrain.
He's failed many times to repair his volatile ways,
But for her sake every time he shall try once again!
