The Bat Craze

And the bat swung in the air,

Everyone crossed their fingers and stood up from their chairs.

Indian flags on cheeks and loud screams from a lot of places,

Cricket is a sport which everyone endorses.

Dhoni and Kohli- my favorite players,

Before the match everyone does prayers.

The ball came rolling and spinning,

As usual, my India was winning.

Be it cricket in the street or on the ground,

There is a world cup fever amongst the crowd.

India and Pakistan, Pakistan and India,

Aaj ka match le jaayega mera jia.

Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip, hooray!

Today is the celebration day.

The victory will make us proud,

'Game Banayega Name' I scream out loud.
