For integration, we must always toil;

We brethren breathe the freedom’s air today;

Unanimously ‘Jai Hind’, let’s all say!

Remember lives lost, sacrifices done;

All states receive the same air, rain, and sun;

Renew our pledge to guard our borders long;

With much respect, let’s sing our national song!

We’re proud to be called Indians upon earth;

We love to live in peace and spread out mirth;

No one can break our bond of Indianness;

We’re poised to brave life’s storms with much finesse.
