The Betrayer
The Betrayer
Holding the smug smile,
When you ostentatiously
Display your vermilion,
My heart breaks into shards.
Blatantly when
The sacred thread
On your bosom pokes me,
My eyes become sepulchral.
Oh! The betrayer,
How can I lacerate you
From my soul that has deified
You as the love of my life?
Today,
You boast upon your achievement
And I stubbornly love you
In spite of your stab.
