Hello great, great, great grandfather ,such a pleasure to greet you 

But why such a sullen face, when I am here to meet you .

I know you are my great ancestor Primate 

Aren't you pleased to meet me , my dear Grand old mate ?

You were any day better and brighter than the chimps ,

More humble and whimsical like us, the earthlings .

No wonder we take after you in many ways alike 

We mingle, bungle and jingle in our everyday life 

You hop, skip and jump from branch to tree for a kill',

And we prance and dance as long, for a thrill .

You care for your infants', with so much love and tenderness ,

And now I know , we learnt this art from you in earnestness .

You lead, you dare you tend and you caution your kind ,

That's where we follow suit in every action of yours ,in our everyday grind .

So don't be so grumpy and growl like an old fox on trail

Cheer up and and get going like a wise old man's tale .
