My Dear Bottle

Everyone says you are bad,

But you're the only one I had.

In every instance I got betrayed,

From every relationship I made.

 

When my times got tough,

My parents had had enough.

I turned to you with my grief,

You made me feel like a chief!

My friends weren't true,

They left when I felt blue.

Sad as I sat with you at the beach,

You gave me insights to preach.

I tried hard to make it work,

My girl left me and said I was a jerk.

I was completely heart broken,

You gave me strength to move on.

I loved my job and gave it my all,

But I got kicked out right down the hall!

When I was being stared by my peers

You were the only one near.

As I look back at my life,

There was a time I thought I was alive.

I assumed that all relations were true,

But alas only until they found someone new!

You my dear have been a true friend,

Standing by my side even at the end.

Throughout life, with its ups and downs,

Whether in a city, village or town.

Everyone says you will hurt me,

I tell them to just let it be.

I trusted humans and got to see,

They're no lesser an enemy.

As I lie here today in my last moments,

Without any motion or movements.

My kidney and liver have failed,

My skin too has become pale.

Yet my dear you are here,

Holding you gives me a cheer.

Sorry to leave you on the floor,

As I'm dying, I can't be with you anymore.
