An Angel From Above
An Angel From Above
I sit here alone,
Asking someone to care,
But they leave me to my misery,
My sorrow, no one to share.
I seem a silhouette to many,
No one sees my face,
I myself am lost to self,
Happiness lost in the chase.
But she did come looking for me,
And opened my soul for all to see,
I felt floating away in trance,
For the first time, I felt free.
What miracle she did to me,
A happy soul or an angel,
The magic was in the heart,
Which she opened for me to heal.
She heard my muffled screams,
My unseen pain she did see,
She listened to my unsaid words,
And showed me the real me.
