Heavenly Joy

After so many days he met me at the village side Banyan Tree. Perhaps he had never been to his village after his professional engagement in service. But I used to stay in the village environment forever after getting a job near to this village. We both were close friends in our childhood days.

I asked, "What happened, you remembered your village after such a long gap? How are you all? is everything fine? "

He answered, " Yes, everything is well and fine. Hectic job life, children's demand and request, wife's order... Time passed so quickly that it was unknown to everyone entangling with these worldly affairs. Both the children performed very well academically and now they are well established in their respective fields. Also, both the sons searched their brides according to their own choice and got married happily. My wife is very busy with family matters. I have tried to accomplish almost all the amenities for my family. Attractive Buildings, luxury vehicles, bank balance. ....There is no want of anything. Now, this is time to enjoy the rest of the days. Only pleasure and pleasure. Whatever you say - the city life is heaven-like. What ecstasy is there!

He gave a sudden break to him after describing all these personal family stories in one breath. He took a long breath. And again started asking me in a very low voice, "Well, how are you?"

"Everything is ok". I looked at him straight away after finishing my words. Just both of our eyes met together. A few drops of tears rolled down his face. I was only enquiring about the meaning of these tears.

He hold my two hands with a firm grip and began saying, " Ok, now you understood! I couldn't tolerate those heavenly joys, so I came back to my village again. I got to hear that a good ambience old age home has built up already near the village. Can you please show me the way to that old age home?
