She!

None of us are born the way we are. We are shaped by our family values, lessons & learnings, situations and people who surround us. I fail to recognise myself in the mirror anymore. I cannot see the naive innocent girl in me anymore who used to look at the world in wonder. Now she just slogs her daylight hours pretending to be fine and hoping to do something better for herself. She has so much to give to the world if it accepts her with open arms than reject her with foul words. She aspires and dreams and can never settle for anything less. She is kind and gentle but wants to be firm. She is giving and caring but can be ruthless if dealt with in a wrong way. She has the patience to listen to others for hours together, but once in a while she would like to be heard too. She praises and motivates all those around her but would like a little recognition herself for her efforts.

She who tries hard to please and care for everyone, will not deter from turning her head the other way to find balance in chaos and chaos is what defines her conflicting thoughts that juggle in her mind day and night. She is a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife. She is a believer an aspirer. She is the girl who once dreamed of heights beyond her reach with twinkling eyes. "She" is none other than a woman just like you and me.
