The Haunted College

"Welcome to the Haunted College of Ghostology!" - the sign outside the old building read.

Rahyl and Neesha were two teen ghosts who had just passed out of their high school and wanted to pursue their career in Ghostology. They were best of friends and nothing could separate them.

They entered the haunted college with a sheer belief that they will top the college and become the best ghosts in the world but who knew that college life is not so easy.

First day at college and they were already late, entered the class only to get scolded by the Tricks professor and shamed in front of the entire class. The Tricks professor started off the class by playing tricks on them like increasing the length of their ears or making them fly in air and rotating them or making them fat in size. The whole class laughed on them.

Second lecture was of the Scare professor. She taught how to scare humans like a professional. It was quite obvious that Scare was an essential subject in becoming a good ghost but somehow Rahyl and Neesha couldn't scare humans.

The first day at college ended when the teacher of Invisibility was absent so everyone left for their homes. But while Rahyl and Neesha were exiting through the main gate, they found a fat bellied ghost guy blocking their paths. He was a bully and wished to rag the innocent little ghosts. Nanapat, the bully, played some cheap tricks on the duo but Rahyl and Neesha were quite good at what they learned today and countered Nanapat and his gang efficiently. Later, they escaped the site and went in the opposite direction of their houses.

Rahyl and Neesha ran and unwillingly entered the city of humans where they apply the rule of survival of the fittest. Nanapat and his gang stopped at the entrance of the city and retreated.

Now, Rahyl and Neesha were stranded in this dark city where they were nothing but merely a pair of immature ghosts. Owing to their ghastly appearance, people refrained from talking to them. Some kids started poking them with sticks and threw stone on them cause anything different is assumed to be a crime.

Rahyl and Neesha couldn't do anything. They tried scaring the kids but the kids mocked them instead. It's difficult being ghosts, you know.

Disappointingly, they entered a house of humans. They were hungry now and tried searching for something to eat in the fridge. A little kid appeared from nowhere and gave Rahyl something to eat. Rahyl and Neesha thanked the little girl and devoured the food hungrily. They were really happy to find a friend and played along with the little girl until it was time to leave.

But when they were leaving, suddenly, the doors shut and lights went off, an eerie background music started playing to give the poor ghosts goosebumps. They were unable to do anything. They tried the tricks they learnt against the ghost kid but to no avail. The kid was more powerful than both of them combined.

Meanwhile, when they were busy fighting with the ghost, a fat figure appeared from behind and threw a trick on the kid. Then two more figures appeared casting cheap tricks on her. Rahyl and Neesha saw those new members in the war- they were Nanapat and his gang members. They smiled looking at them and gained an apparent self confidence. All of them attacked the little kid together with their tricks and powers and the battle lasted only a few minutes with the kid yielding to the other ghosts.

The kid magically transformed into an old professor who turned out to be their Mystery subject teacher who saw the ghost kids fighting with each other and thought of teaching them a lesson of Mystery and Philosophy.

"Children, you have just learned your first lesson of being a good ghost- Ghosts are only feared when they come in bulk, when they are together. Unity is strength."

The kids were happy that they did something good together. And this is how Rahyl and Neesha's first day at college was!
