Ramu's Guest

Ramu owns a sweet shop in Jaipur and he is a miser, he always tries to save as much as money as possible, he hates when kids eat his sweets, he even hates a fly who sits over his sweets, he is a rude man. But is very honest person as well.

One day a foreigner from some country visits Jaipur and is walking and shopping from the street, Ramu is as usual busy in his shop and one thing good about Ramu is that he thinks that customer is God and making customer happy, makes God happy, the foreigner came to Ramu's shop and Ramu tried his best to make him taste all the sweets of the shop and the foreigner loved his sweets, it was a busy day,then Ramu got a call and the foreigner packed some sweets and left with the sweets but he forgot to take his change of Rs.10 and Ramu saw this and he wanted to go back of him but some customers stopped him but he managed to come out but the man had hopped onto the bus and Ramu couldn't return the money, this made him really sad though he was a miser who was famous by the name Ramu miser, he didn't want to save money by wrong way, he also remembered "Athithi Devo bhava" and wanted to return the foreigner's change so he boarded the bus as he had seen the bus number,he booked his bus tickets by spending Rs.50/- and reached and then he saw the foreigner but couldn't handover his change, he saw the foreigner boarded a cab and Ramu took a cab as well and followed him and then atlast he stopped at a restaurant and Ramu got him but had to pay Rs.300/- as cab charge, Ramu saw the man and went upto him and gave him his Rs.10/- the foreigner was shocked and asked his companion to ask for this,then Ramu told him the story and the foreigner listening this was shocked and couldn't believe about such honest person, he asked his companion to ask about the cost he spend to travel but Ramu didn't tell and said he was our guest, India's guest and is God to us, the foreigner hugged him and he was very happy, Ramu called him to visit their city to see the culture and tradition, the foreigner visited their place and loved India, when he went back told all about India, its culture, honesty of people, treating guest like god...to his people.
