A Boy's Story
A Boy's Story
A little boy
Lived in a village,
In his mind
He possessed an image.
There was a hill
He thought always,
What lies behind it
One day he would witness.
Stories he had heard
Of the dark forest,
And of the giant demon
But he wanted to climb its crest.
He was calm
When he was a kid,
As he grew older
His vision became vivid.
He imagined behind the hill
Is a place called paradise,
If he finds
In the village, he will be most wise.
So he began
On his quest,
Until he reaches his destination
He would not rest.
On the way, he came across
Dark forest with spooky trees,
But determined for his destination
With every step, his excitement increased.
Walking over the dusty paths
Running down the slopes,
Finally, he reaches
With his high hopes.
To his surprise, he finds
There is a different world,
No less than a paradise
Where different creatures bustled.
He returned but told none
What he had witnessed,
If he tells
The new ecosystem will be harassed.
While sleeping
He promised to himself,
That he will forget about the place
So that nature is unharmed and dwells.
