A Girl With Wavy Lock

A Girl With Wavy Lock

2 mins
106

Gush of wind blows her hair,

Supple curls became frantic,

Eager to soar in the sky,

Refused to be caged in limits,

Fell down over her face,

Clogged her eyes and lips,

Got muffled around her neck,

Spread all over her chest

Then she controlled them,

Tied them and covered with a scarf,

She thought it's her victory, over their slavery,

But she wasn't aware,

There was a rebellion wavy lock,

It was still unbound,

Dangled on her forehead through scarf,

Flowing from her head to chin,

Swinging slightly with every breath,

The wavy lock decided,

Not to follow existing norms,

Determined to swing in the air,

Vigours to spread her wings,

Though other hair told her to step back,

"It was unsafe to stand out in crowd,

She could be cut down for being distinct,

There is no good to be wild,

She would be expelled,

From the world of normals,

She's trapping herself in insanity, "

That wavy lock became deaf,

She removed all her ears,

And ignored all discouraging voices,

Rose to the heights up above,

Felt the breeze dampened with rays of sun,

An old woman was coming from opposite direction,

Noticed that wild wavy lock,

Trailing boldly on the face of young girl,

While other hair were caged in scarf,

As she had caged herself within prescribed limits,

Never tried to go beyond boundaries,

Never tried to break the norms,

Never tried to expand her wings,

Never tried to saw dreams with open eyes,

Never tried to look into her heart,

Never tried to trust on her guts,

Never tried to step forward,

Never tried to be odd in similar faces,

Subsequently that old woman,

Stepped toward the girl with wavy lock,

Unfastened her scarf,

Set her hair free and wild.
