A Hundred Thoughts
A Hundred Thoughts
A hundred thoughts
Clustered in her head
She walked with head up in the clouds
Dreaming of a world that she’d never see
Turn to a reality,
Thinking obsessively about an uncertain future,
An alternate world
Where she would be the lead
And not just a cast-off;
How could she possibly know?
All these thoughts in her head
Wasn’t just a mirage
But rather an epiphany of what should be,
Yet none to understand her,
None to share with
A world of dreams and hopes
That only she could see
A hundred thoughts
Seemed like a mere piece of fragmentation
“Just your imagination!” they said
A priceless piece of the journey
That only she would experience
Nevertheless, she continued
In the fickle world of thoughts;
Never letting herself sink into the void
Of what others would say
Cause only she could see
The power of her imagination manifest,
All this might seem too far fetched
But right now she is unfazed
Cause these hundred thoughts
Is what made her mind to be at rest
