As We Walk.....

It’s fun to walk with friends as the sun sets,

Together to weave the thread,

Of the day that’s gone since,

And the night that’s about to set.

Pleasantries exchanged,

A lot is said,

The mind is cleared of all muck held,

A nod here, a silly grunt, peals of laughter over days musings,

Gives ways to smile that resets our head.

Frustrations in animated styles pour off from hearts,

And fills oneself with clarity of thoughts.

A friendly smile is all that’s needed to raise one’s spirit high.

A gentle touch upon the arm will stop a heaving sigh.

Be it rain, sun, or gloom,

Or even if it’s going to be the year of doom,

We are so happy on our walk,

Just spreading happiness as we march on!!

With hope every day and head held high,

We march to and fro’ on our paths set high!
