Blind Sided
Blind Sided
Out of nowhere you came and took my heart
Like a thief in the night, what you did should be a crime
I sit here, wrestling with my thoughts
Trying to figure out how my mind became so loss
I walk around as if I'm blind
Reaching out for a wall, but nothing to find
Enchanted by the thought, of a lucid dream
Not good with interpretation, so tell me what it means
I lay here resting in your arms
Feel no pain or a sense of harm
No rocks in the chest, or internal alarms
The thought of waking up without you by my side
Tears aren't enough to express how I feel
Maybe I'll down a hundred pills
If dreams are all I have then just at least
Let me die in my sleep and rest in peace
