BODIES IN MY BASEMENT

There's so many people, 

I see each sunrise... 

Yet they mean nothing,

Anymore to me... 

They're all gone, 

Dead to me in different ways... 

They're all souls I don't acknowledge, 

The bane of my days... 

They're all ghosts, 

And demons and monsters... 

People who've put me down, 

And pushed me down the stairs.. 

People who stood and watched, 

The blood flow down my cheeks... 

The one's who were mortified, 

When I finally started to speak... 

They're no more humans, 

Just sins I would never meet again... 

They're horror stories, 

From a lifetime full of bloodshed and pain... 

They're monsters, 

The kinds which peel your skin... 

They're demons, 

The kinds which haunt your kin... 

They're wars behind a mask, 

Setting me up against myself... 

As silent as poison, 

Rendering me unable to ask for help... 

They're all dead to me in ways more than one, 

Just as dead as I am... 

Bleeding from the wounds they inflicted, 

A story of the eternally damned...

I'm a figure of speech now,

The metaphor written for terror... 

An angel pushed to death, 

A story so stellar... 

So watch your backs tonight, 

Cause I'll come for my revenge... 

No matter how many years have gone by, 

You shall pay for every tenge... 

Stay up tonight, 

Sit and hold your breath... 

It's me calling out to you, 

It's me, your timely death... 

Cause of the pain you inflicted, 

There shall be no replacement... 

So I'll silently haunt you tonight, 

You'll fit in right

With the bodies in my basement...
