Bravehearts - 5
Bravehearts - 5
Caught in strong currents,
two little cubs, with gram dear,
swept aside from brood.
Farther away with each wave
Ashore, alone, path unknown.
Frayed, threadbare, battered,
reach solitary confines,
ramshackle, enough,
to spend the frigid dark night.
Thus, Kumma Mashki is blessed.
Kumma serves Thy own.
With his heart and meagre means,
devout and sincere.
Night at his place, morn of hope.
Here comes Gangu, once their own.
A swindler he is,
he gluttons for Granny's gold.
He leads them astray,
lest they meet their tribe, their folks.
Yearning bunch, follows him home.
Naive, confounded,
little ones seek their brethren.
Earnest for dad's lap,
mayhaps tad bit tantrum here.
Lovingly, The Gram placates.
Sans any respect,
Gangu subtracts all flavors.
Gilded glinting gold,
he steals from their tote at night,
cries thief at dawn with full might.
Repelled by Gangu,
aghast at basal conduct,
betrayed and baited,
confined now to prisoncell,
they bow before His Decree.
