Chapters Of A Woman's Living

Shakespeare had given us the seven stages of a man's cycle.

Have you ever wondered about the chapters in a woman's life?

A girl is born as a blessing

To her father and his liking!

No one has any objection as everyone

At that moment only contained affection.

Now, she a little child,

Carefree and mild.

Parents start whispering in codes, they spell the word.

She every time complains "ma- pa, why you always want to be unheard?"

She as an adolescent is unable to discover who she is.

She is violent and capricious.

She is willing to fight the whole world to prove her right.

The world here is her parents who are unbearably tight.

Friendship is the superiority,

as friends become her new priority.

She then enters the phase of love-hood.

Every friend of hers possesses a boyfriend.

She disheartens,

"I don't give a fXXX." she pretends.

Then is the lady-hood, where she dreams

Of love and romance.

She thinks about a tall, dark and handsome man whenever she gets a drink,

In whose arms she wants to sink.

Here comes the time, she gets married,

And regrets that she shouldn't have hurried.

She should have chosen money with a clink,

As now, her hands are in the sink.

It's the most horrific stage of her life!

She tends to listen to her first "aunty".

She is a mother now.

Loads of responsibility on her shoulders anyhow.

She wishes to give her daughters,

A life better than hers.

She has now, turned into a grey-haired old-dame,

Wearing a loose shirt and a pair of a harem.

When she hears from behind "please give a side granny!"

Full of power she yells"I am still young and funny."

They say time flies,

Now she only wishes to live alone in the skies.
