Dirty Hands
Dirty Hands
You say my hands are dirty?
No, I think it's a picture of beauty.
I am going to paint a beautiful picture,
That brings out different colours of nature.
Haven't you seen dark clouds in the clear sky?
My hands look same till washed and dry.
Life challenges with roughs and toughs
Even I can sail through ups and downs.
Dirty hands are not useless,
How can the hands that plough be helpless?
They say hardwork is never worthless,
The final fruit is always priceless.
Head held high, I stand proudly,
As I earn my livelihood sincerely.
Don't ignore their importance,
Without them, there's no existence.
Whether you play, paint or work,
Hands will be dirty, just don't shirk.
I don't care people calling me dirty,
As long I don't let people to be hungry or thirsty.
